In 2008, contributors to the Village Plan expressed concern about vehicles being driven at a dangerous speed through our village. The Parish Council considered ways to overcome this problem and decided to participate in the Gloucestershire Speedwatch Scheme.
Four volunteers in Daglingworth were trained by the Police to use " Speedar” speed monitoring equipment. Three or four sessions have been held each year. Offenders are reported to the Police, who send an appropriate warning letter.
